India Humanity Foundation (IHF) is excited to launch the Padho Bharat Campaign, a month-long national initiative running from 8th August to 8th September 2025, dedicated to collecting books and setting up libraries.

The campaign will unfold in two impactful phases:

Phase 1 : Book Collection Drive – Mobilizing individuals, institutions, and communities across 30 cities to donate gently used or new books.

Phase 2 : Library Creation – Setting up libraries in schools and community spaces across India.

Building on IHF’s legacy of having already created over 5,000 libraries, and distributing more than 100,000 books to schools, orphanages, and other educational institutions, this campaign aims to scale our impact and reach thousands more learners—especially children, youth, and adult learners in rural and marginalized areas.

We are inviting various organisations like Round Table India, Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, educational institutions, NGOs, and corporate partners to join us in this mission. Let’s come together to turn unused books into powerful tools of change.
