The founder of IHF, Mr. Mehta, brings a wealth of service experience, having served as District Governor of Rotary, the world’s oldest service organization. He later became the fourth Indian to lead Rotary International as its worldwide President, overseeing activities across 200 countries. Beyond Rotary, Mr. Mehta is actively involved in various charitable organizations, including Operation Eyesight India, Eastern India Rotary Welfare Trust, H.C. Garg Charitable Eye Hospital, and Hooghly Eye Hospital. His impactful contributions include establishing over 15 Eye Hospitals, facilitating more than 1,000 heart surgeries for children across India, and constructing hundreds of rural toilets to improve sanitation and hygiene.
